I left my keys in the door by mistake, which were then stolen by my next door neighbours (I live on a not-very-nice estate) but the police couldn't do anything as I had no proof. I discovered this after I woke in the middle of the night to hear the key being turned in the lock and the pattering of feet in my hallway. I was taking my son to a festival at 8am that morning so I had to get a locksmith during the night. I phoned Saif and he came at 6.30am as promised and completed the work very quickly and efficiently. His charged was comparable to what another person had quoted me but who had sounded decidedly unreliable over the phone. He was very kind and tried to replace the locks on the gate too for an extra tenner but didn't have compatible locks for these.

Key stuck in lock of back door. I tried for over an hour. Conceded defeat found 1a ideal locksmith here. Called them they rang me back and hour later new lock was installed and house secured. Can't ask for better service than that on a Sunny Sunday. TOP MARKS ALL ROUND

I managed to lock myself out of my flat and was incredibly stressed. Saif was absolutely lovely and got me back into my flat. Very professional and came within set time. I was extremely stressed after being locked out and faced with a gazillion entries under locksmiths in the phone book, I did not know where to turn. Then I spotted the magic checkatrade logo and I felt sure I would be okay with them. Luckily I was proved right and was back in my home within an hour of being locked out! They came to see me on a sunday quickly diagnosed the fault and changed my lock in five minutes. I did shudder a bit at the £75 labour cheque and £45 for the cylinder but at the end of the day my front door was not working and when he left it was. You pay your oney and take your choice. I would recommend them.

I telephoned them on Wednesday morning. the locksmith arranged to arrived on Thursday at 11.30, but didn't arrive until 12.30 although they did ring to let us know. The job took 15 minutes and they were very polite and courteous. I would recommend them.
