Really good, from visit for quote, to completion. Found Russell to give an honest view of the work required and kept in touch right the way through to completion. James was tidy, professional, and an all-round nice guy. He offered to carry on with job on a Saturday when weather had hampered progress in the week. Would definitely recommend 1st Master Wall-Ties Ltd and would be my first call if I found myself needing the same work in another home. Have offered to send some photos of work to Russell for his website, once the weather clears up.

James arrived on time and was quick setting up his tools at the rear of the property. I explained that my wife was still asleep so would shut the bedroom windows where the drilling would be taking place. He was prepared to wait until she woke up but I told him not to worry. The work took approx 4 hours as previously stated by the boss, Russell. All holes were professionally filled using a very close match to the colour of the bricks. He tidied up very thoroughly at the end sweeping and hosing down dust from the roof and windows. Very happy with the service I received from 1st Master Wall Ties Ltd.

Having read Checkatrade on this company I contacted them. They came, estimated and sent a quote within a week. A time and date was agreed which they kept to. As Russell, the proprietor, was unable to attend due to his wife giving birth, it was James who came and explained what he was going to do. When it was to wet to continue they worked over the weekend to get the job done. It looks good and both my wife and I am extremely pleased with the result and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Russell and James did an excellent job repointing the brickwork on my barn. It was in a dreadful state before he started (a few bricks half missing and most of the mortar crumbled away). A dust extractor was used while removing the old mortar so very little mess or dust was created. They took a lot of care over the neatness of the pointing and I am extremely pleased with the end result. I have already recommended them to a friend.

They were recommended by a friend, I didn't know much about wall ties so the WTIF guarantee was reassuring. The reason I have not scored on the 'quality of workmanship' was because the wall tiles are internal and so cannot see the workmanship involved.

Very neat on outside wall - can hardly see where ties have gone in as colour match to brick almost perfect. Pointing also very good. If they hadn't left the front door open while using the disc cutter it would have been 10 for tidiness too! I am being a bit hard on time keeping as we struggled to set a date for the work, but once it was agreed they stuck to it OK
