Chimney - inspection, remove render and 5 courses of bricks, rebuild stack, specialist rendering and weather proofing, replace pots ensure lead and tiles sound.
Following a nightmare of an experience with another building firm (not Checkatrade) we asked Nick to provide us with a second opinion. The work Nick and his team including the scaffolder and plasterers carried out was superb, they all worked extremely hard, ensured there was no risk to our property or the neighbours from the work. We were kept informed of each stage of the work and any additional costs or delays due to the weather. We would definitely recommend Nick and the team. We now have a very smart but best of all safe chimney. He saved our sanity and a considerable amount of money.

Single storey extension to rear

Building alterations and kitchen fit
I feel disappointed with the standard of our kitchen fit. The fridge freezer door would not close properly and after a failed attempt to resolve the problem, Nick left quoting ' There's only so much you can do with a flat pack kitchen'. We subsequently employed a professional kitchen fitter who identified that the back of the fridge freezer housing had not been fitted, causing the side to flex inwards.
