Alan came and checked the problem (thermostat - input / output etc...) , said he could replace the element there and then which I accepted, the work was done within 2 hours (from diagnostic to completion), very clean and efficient.  I was told by a previous plumber that the work could not be done as the space was too awkward to empty the cylinder, but Alan had no issue with this. Had to call back Alan as the water was still not very hot, so he came back the next day and adjusted the temperature.  very pleased with his work

Brilliant Plumber. Arrived bang on time, wasted no time in getting set-up and accessing the problem. Then fixed the problem with no problems at all. Tested and re-tested to make sure. Cost was lower than estimated. Then on the way out, noticed a leaking pipe and fixed this at no extra cost. Polite, efficient and defiantly recommended, defo 10/10

To start with, Alan did a very thorough survey of the existing system to avoid any nasty surprises on the installation day. He gave me very good advice to help me choose the right boiler for my needs and lifestyle. He fitted the new boiler without any problems and with very little mess. Alterations to the pipe work were done neatly and methodically. He was able to give good answers to any questions I had, and clearly knows his stuff. I am fully confident in his abilities and I would recommend him.

The plumber called on the day to say he could come earlier than planned, which was helpful, and on arrival he quickly resolved both the broken cistern (he had replacement parts on him) and the water pressure. He gave advice on the taps which need replacing and said he'd be happy to come back to fit when we had bought them. All in all, a very efficient, good-value service, delivered by a polite, considerate tradesman - appreciated by my wife, home alone with small child. Will use them for all our plumbing needs from now on.

After informing A J Plumbing and Heating that I believed I had a leaking pipe, he fit me into his schedule of work quickly - giving me a time range in which he'd arrive the next day, within which he did arrive. Upon arrival, he helped me move my kitchen appliances and fixed shelving and quickly found the source of the leak under the lino in our kitchen. After fixing the leak, he put the lino back down and tidied up after himself. He then put back the shelving and helped me move the appliances back. I would definitely recommend this company for such work!

Alan kept me informed of what time he would arrive by telephone and reminder text the day before, and kept to it. Sorted out the heating even though it was behaving and not playing up as usual. I had a problematic bath tap for a while and Alan worked out what it was and avoided me having to re-run pipe work. This is a problem that other plumbers could not sort out. Overall I am extremely pleased with the work and free advice. It was even cheaper than I thought it would be. Couldn't be happier.
