A.J.Taylor undertake all aspects of electrical installations throughout the South Coast. Whether it be domestic or commercial, big or small - we have the capability and experience to meet your electrical needs. As a company A.J.Taylor has been trading since 1983 as an electrical contracting and air-conditioning company. From an initial team of two electricians and an apprentice - we currently employ over fifty, fully qualified engineers and apprentices who receive continual training while working with us.We also have a dedicated and knowledgeable office team based in the centre of Brighton who are happy to answer any queries relating to our line of work. We are a friendly and efficient force to be reckoned with! 

A.J. Taylor are MCS Accredited contractors, A.J. Taylor Solar Division can deal with all your Solar Photovoltaic requirements from initial survey, through design to installation, followed by after care service as required. All of our engineers are directly employed.
The Solar Division is run with the same ethics and professionalism as the electrical company, with the same engineers carrying out the installations.

Replace/check smoke alarms and repair frequently blowing kitchen lights

Lights ‘blew’ again within 3 days – when I called the office they said ‘they were working when he left’. Workman told me they are easily blown because the bulbs are cold – they should not be kept in the garage. Subsequent electrician showed me bulbs were not fitted correctly.

We first attended on the 1st February 2012 to replace smoke detectors and a heat detector as quoted. Whilst on site we were asked to replace 4 lamps in down lights which the client supplied. We did this at no charge and left all lights working. We called on the 28th February 2012 to chase payment and left a message but did not receive a call back. We then called again on the 12th March 2012 to chase payment and left a message. We received a call back on the 12th March 2012 to say that these lights were no longer working. We said to the client that we could have an engineer out on the same day to investigate the lights not working but if this was not a fault of ours then we would have to charge for the visit. The client then decided she did not want us to come and investigate her faulty lights. Considering the above we feel the clients score is unfair and unreasonable. The client has said in telephone conversation that she was very happy with the works we were contracted to carry out.

Work was completed as for scheduling which was very important even though problems outside their control made this difficult. I would recommend this company.
