Andy's work is always of an exceptional standard and he finishes all his jobs with excellence. We have used Andy to replace half the sash windows in our Georgian Grade 2 listed house and will get him to replace the remainder. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

Asked to Advise on Renovating Sash Windows

I asked Andy to come and look at our sash windows. He was on time, knowledgeable and professional. He did not hesitate to tell us that our windows only needed some cosmetic TLC at this stage; I am sure that someone unscrupulous could have told us we needed to spend thousands on new ones!

Refurbishment of 10 sash windows

Andy and his team a group of highly skilled craftsman who take great pride in their work. I had 10 sash windows replaced with double-glazed units, and box frames renovated. The quote from Andy was very competitive, and the replacement sashes were copied perfectly to match the originals to preserve the period look of the property. A Sash Window Wizard was chosen after I researched many companies providing this service. I found some companies charged additional costs for full strip-down of the box frames, final gloss painting, window furniture and for custom features such as ornate horns and arches – all of which were covered in the price quoted by Andy. The rooms in which work was carried out in were fully dust-sheeted, and left in a clean state at the end of each day, and windows were left secure overnight. The team are trustworthy and were left unsupervised at the house while I was at work. I am extremely pleased with the quality of work and materials used, and I would highly recommend them if you are considering renovation work to sash windows. Andy and his team will be back at some point to remove aluminium and UPVC double-glazing and replace them with traditional wooden items to get back to the original look of the house.
