The windows looked excellent from inside and outside, very difficult to tell they were not wood. The phrase in the brochure was 'authentic timber look.' Absolutely accurate. Product knowledge was excellent and the standard of workmanship including carpentry was faultless. Thoroughly recommended.

Very professional from start to finish! In the early stages, John was very helpful in terms of explaining types of windows, designs etc. Which made the whole process alot easier. He also wasn't at all pushy which was in start contrast to some of the bigger companies. The window fitters did a great job, the windows look fantastic and considering the amount of damage caused by the removal of the crittal windows, the repair work was completed to a very high standard. I would definitely use ABCO again and highly recommend them!

ABCO fitted our patio doors when the old ones had become completely locked stuck. Firstly John sent his men around to try to help us get the doors open, when we realised this couldn't happen we had to get new doors (this is part of a bigger subsidence problem). I was very happy with the work. The men who came were spot on time, they covered every surface so there was no mess at all and they were very understanding of my mum, dogs, children and all the other distractions of family life. ABCO fitted my whole house with new windows about 10 years ago and I have been very happy with them. They still look good and do a great job of keeping the cold out and the drafts (we had crittall windows before! - freezing). What I like mostly is it seems to be a family run business with people who don't change - still there, still happy to help and also give advice, which is so important when you don't do these things very often. Btw, when we had the whole house done ABCO was the only windows company that started at the price that everyone else negotiated down to! John said how much it would be, saw loads of other firms they all started higher, but ended up at exactly the price he had said! Happy to recommend their services.

The company was recommended by a friend. John Hermasson came along to give me a quote. He was knowledgeable and not pushy, so I decided to get all 4 windows replaced. The new windows are chunky and robust and they look like they'll last a long time. They are white PVC, but do not look cheap and flimsy like some other models. The installers were efficient and courteous and cleaned up well after the work was done. Very pleased with the installation.

Door was exactly as ordered. The two fitters were polite, tidy and efficient. Old door was removed swiftly and dust-sheets were used from the start. My external walls are poured no-fines concrete and hard to drill but the fitting of the new surround went smoothly. The concrete was made good where necessary. The team kept everything tidy and hoovered etc when they finished, including dusting the new door. All debris was removed and taken away. I was shown how to use the new lock and handle. It would have been nice to have more keys but I guess these are supplied by the door manufacturer. All in all a very positive experience.

ABCO put the windows in about eleven years ago. One of the locks started catching on closing. I phoned for advice and Mr Hermansson came and repaired the locking bolt. I offered to pay but he said it should not have happened and there was no charge. He checked the other windows whilst he was here.

ABCO have done 3 projects for my wife and I: new sliding doors to our patio - so quiet and smooth, new front door and side panel - visually stunning and very secure, lovely sun room which blended so well with the existing building. John was very helpful with the planning and listened to all our suggestions and his guys Ken and Barry were very hard working throughout always leaving the work site clean and tidy and even vacuuming the lawn where they had been working they were careful with all the finishing. I would most certainly recommend ABCO and my score for ABCO out of ten is 15+.

During the original works we had an issue with the appearance of one window although it was exactly as per the original plans we were not happy and the contractor replaced it without any quibble! We had a date booked in for the work but the day before received a call postponing it for a week. Thought the worst to start with but actually, the fitters had noticed when checking documentation that they had been sent a wrongly sized unit. If they hadn't been so careful, they might well have taken out the old window only to find the new one didn't fit and we'd have been left with a gaping hole for a week. I was impressed at such attention to detail and that carried through for the way they did the work - very careful and tidy, extremely pleasant guys to have around.

ABCO were recommended to us by a friend. This was a complicated job replacing an existing large sloping conservatory roof (18ft x 9ft), replaceing two doors and replacing with a new double glazed roof structure, installing a new double door and windows in anothe room as well as replacing 3 windows. The work had to be precise to fit onto an exiating conservatory and proved to be fault free. The price was very competitive with other quotes and the job was completed as planned, on time without hitch. 10 out of 10. We would thoroughly recommend them. I don't normally complete these types of surveys but when asked to recommend ABCO on checkatrade I readily agreed.
