About Roofing removed my exisitng Felt Garage Roof (inc wood), Porch, Soffit, Facia and Guttering. My house is tile-hung which resulted in 4 rows of tiles having to be removed and replaced from 2 sides of the property also. The workmanship was very good and the site left clean and tidy each day. The entire process from start to finish took 3.5 days and I was kept upto date at each stage. I would recomend About Roofing !

Claude is a fantastic roofer, the quotation was 100% accurate and once the work was booked in he always turned up on time and gave an accurate estimation of how long the work would take. I could not fault his workmanship in any way and he would rate as one of the tidiest tradesman I have ever known. The work was done in various stages over a period of months the timetable being determined by our project manager. Timings changed frequently during the project due to the complexity of the job. Claude always arrived promptly at each stage and worked efficiently to a high standard. Our new roof looks great. Claude was always very helpful and responsive to our questions and ideas and we were only charged what we had agreed. We would thoroughly recommend him.

I am still waiting for my 10 year guarantee document. I feel that I am not happy with the attitude of the trader after payment was made and wish to make this clear to other people wishing to use his services. In my opinion I would advise not making payment until all documentation is received.

In response to the customer comments above. I feel very sorry that this customer was not happy with the service received. I did send the guarantee to the customer but unfortunately this was not received by him. I have since sent a second copy which he has now received. I am thankful to the customer for bringing this to my attention as once I have sent the guarantee I am not aware that the customer has received this unless they let me know. The customer did leave feedback for me when the work was initially carried out and gave me a good score. I am sorry that he has had to chase me for the guarantee and if I can be of any assistance to him in the future I will be more than happy.
