Having been in the Building Trade for over twenty five years I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge in every aspect of all types of Building. I pride myself in my art and am always looking for perfection. please see my photos for reference.

I can now offer Liquid Floor Screeding, an amazing product that is ideal for areas of limited depth of coverage and under floor heating. it is, to a certain extent self levelling. Being that it is liquid it will ingress all voids and after a process called dappling, will be absolutely level, after just 48 hours you can walk on it and within two weeks heat it!

Removed old kitchen, made good walls and fitted new kitchen
Mike gave us a very fair quote. He advised us on how the work we wanted could be done and ways in which we could keep costs reasonable. He did exactly as we asked and was very good natured and willing when we requested changes like repositioning of shelves. He worked with a team of people all of whom were friendly and professional. Our kitchen looks great and the workmanship is of a high standard, We would recomend him to friends.

Took out old tiled fireplace and put in Victorian cast iron fireplace.
Yet another great job from Michael and his team, the fireplace looks amazing the surrounding wall plastered to a high standard. Would highly recomend A.B.& B.C to anybody looking for a competent builder and competative pricing.

Insertion of air bricks to the back and side of a house
Mike cut out replaced some exsisting brickwork and replaced such with air bricks to create better airflow through the wall cavities to prevent any build up of condensation. All was done on time and to a high standard.

Turn old kitchen into Family Bathroom
Mike took on the job to turn an old fourth bedroom that had been turned into a kitchen by the previous owners into a Family Bathroom. Mike was honest and helpful offering advice on a multitude of things. The job required plumbing, installing new soil stack, dry lining, skimming, electrics, tiling (on suspended floor) and bathroom fitting. Mike was able to do all the work himself and organised the electrics. We were happy with the job and have lined mike up to sort out what is left of the old bathroom/toilet.

Repair poor brickwork
Initial impression was of honest opinion regarding current condition and work likely to be needed with options discussed. During work potential problems encountered and options discussed before settling on final outcome with advice from several aspects. Work completed well, looks far better than original. Installation of dehumidifier fans in kitchen and bathroom
Mike ordered the special dehumidifier fans with sensors, drilled the holes and fitted the fans and had qualified electricians on hand to do the electrical work. The fans having been installed were tested and safety certificate issued. All was left clean and tidy.
