Peter Duffy was recommended to us. He was asked to provide an estimate for (a) the replacement of the hot water circulating pump in our boiler and (b) to advise re the modification of pipe work to the cold feed and vent pipes. He made a thorough inspection, asked all the pertinent questions and gave a frank assessment of what could be done to improve the system within the parameters of our budget. This was done free of charge. Peter’s estimate to drain down the system and supply and fit filters to flush the system was fair. He was punctual, got on with the job, tidy and happy to explain in detail and to give advice. The best recommendation I can make is to say we will continue to use Peter’s services as he is one of that rare breed that considers the overview and does not just look at a problem in isolation. Most importantly, he has the expertise to do the job.

Right in the middle of the coldest start to winter in decades, a part on our central heating system failed. The house was like an ice box when I got home from work. Peter was able to come out straight away and had diagnosed and fixed the fault about 45 minutes after I called him. He was efficient, very good value, to the point and humorous. I would definitely recommend him.
