In all my dealing with Austin Brown I have found him to be extremely honest eg. he provides a detailed break-down of grade of employees used, hourly charging rate, dates worked and hours worked on each date and materials charged at cost. Keeps to dates arranged and advises if unable to do so because of weather etc. Very happy with the quality of work.

Replaced 4 bonnet tiles after storm damage.
Mr Brown of ABS Tiling Services was polite, helpful and efficient. He carried out the work with the minimum of fuss and to a high standard. He charged significantly less than a quote we received from a non-Checkatrade registered company. We will certainly recommend his company and Checkatrade to friends and will use both again.

Replacement valley, guttering, and chimney stack removal
Austin and his team were very professional throughout the job, and showed a great deal of attention to detail, completing all aspects of the work we requested. Austin and company were very polite and courteous, ensuring they caused a minimum of disruprtion whilst they were here. They were a pleasure to deal with.

Repair Ridge/Hip Tiles and Remove Moss From Roof
Excellent service, prompt arrangement to come to property to give quote, explained how job would be done, quoted price straight away, very quick response when making appointment to have job done, all workers very efficient, quick and tidy, replaced a few tiles all within price, cleaned and removed moss, would highly recommend on price, and excellent work done, many thanks.

Replacement of tiles on leaky roof
After trying a few numbers on the checkatrade listings and getting either an answering machine or no call back, I came across ABS Roofing Services. Austin was very polite when I contacted him and very prompt in calling round to assess my roof. When it came to the repair his fearless son was up on my roof within minutes of arriving. He replaced some tiles but came across another that also needed replacing. He made good, using lead flashing to tide me over for the weekend. On Monday the additional broken tile was replaced first thing in the morning. I am now a proud owner of a leak free roof and a 100% satisfied both with the work and the very fair price I was charged. Any roofing work in the future I'll be heading straight to ABS.

Reline leaking roof gulleys and replace damaged tiles
Austin Brown came out promptly to check a leaking roof, although he was busy, and started the work as soon as possible. He was friendly and helpful as was his son and assistant who carried out the work. I was kept informed on work in progress and they did a good clean up job when they had finished. They completed the work in good time, despite the weather and I am happy to recommend this company.

Valley repairs and general roof overhaul
The proprietor Austin Brown is not only a nice man to deal with, but he does excellent work at an affordable price. He did some valley repairs and a general roof overhaul which was all carried out efficiently and to my entire satisfaction. Highly recommended.
