Painting of new kitchen/ re-plastered dinning area
Cannot fault the work at all. Both initial costing and time frame adhered to. Advice on both colour scheme and paint type per use given (and gratefully received). The paintwork is of a high quality and the decorators returned to ensure the job was fully complete and the house was left extremely clean. Both decorators were amenable. A first class service!

Decorating bedrooms, hall, ceilings, stairways
Neil and his team decorated almost the whole house, including stripping, making good and sealing the walls, lining, painting and papering the walls, and painting all the wood. I was absolutely delighted with the quality of the work, the price, and the professionalism and helpfulness of Neil and everyone who worked with him. Neil was punctual and reliable, had very realistic estimates of timing and schedule, and always ensured that the house was clean and tidy at the end of the day. He was also happy to work with me to accommodate my family's schedule, to ensure that there was as little disruption as possible for us all. The house looks fantastic, and Neil's advice on paint and colours was spot on. I would not hesitate to recommend Neil and his team.

Decorating hall, stairs and landing and bedrooms.
This was a big job - stripping all the walls, making good and sealing, lining and painting as well as painting all the wood. The quality of the work was excellent (the walls are really smooth) and was finished ahead of schedule, which was fabulous. I have no hesitation in recommending Neil and his team.

Redecorating a 300 m2 house (1924) which hadn't been touched for years
We decided to use Absolute Deco because 2 of our friends had used them in the past and were extremely satisfied with the final result. My husband and I are very demanding. To renovate our 1924 house which had not been touched for years and which hasn't got one straight wall, we needed someone attentive to detail, clean (we had to live in the house while the work was carried out), who cares about his work, listens and understands our requirements, easy to talk to, polite, trustworthy and reliable. Neil and his team answered to all those criterias. The work took 5 months in total (June to October) (we added a lot of extras). To make things more difficult, Absolute Decor had to work around other trades. But with good communication and commitment, we now have a fantastic result. Thanks again Neil for such a good work.

Painted exterior of house including loft extension. Replaced broken windows
Neil's a great guy to have on your side. His quote was realistic, his advice always sound and his attention to detail second to none. He put right things he wasn't happy with, usually without me even having noticed them, and he never let his extremely high standards drop. They missed a couple of days because of rain, and couldn't have been more apologetic. Jason quietly did the lion's share of the work and was absolutely no trouble to have around, courteous and considerate. Nothing was too much trouble, and we weren't expected to pay the majority of the money until the job was complete to our entire satisfaction. They even cleared out the gulleys and gutters, and washed the windows! I really can't fault the job they've done. I guess the real test will be if it looks as good as it does now in a year or two's time. I have no reason to believe it won't.

A good crew, pleasant to deal with, worked hard and thoroughly, no time wasted. Helpful with decisions and they found a good carpenter to do a small job needed.

Lining of our bedroom ceiling with a difficult curve across it..
Neils initial appraisal of what was required, due consideration to the challenges involved, how to address them and the application of his work thereafter were of a high professional standard throughout. His professional approach to his work was also reflected in his courteous manner and the way in which he worked, i.E working in a tidy manner. Would be quite happy to refer his decorating services to a third party.

Decorated son's bedroom
Had never used decorators before so used this site for help, picked Neil as he was local and had good reviews. Neil was quick with the estimate and managed to fit us in to enable other work to start on time. He made sure we were introduced to his team before they started. We had a couple of rough walls but they've brought them up a treat. We're really pleased with the result, done on time and too estimate, ( plus materials). Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
