I was only at the premises for a brief period of time when the work was carried out, but when I was there I was really impressed with the men on site. They were extremely helpful and took the time to explain things clearly to me. When they discovered the amount of rubble that was in the cavity was worse than anticipated, they took the trouble to remove two more existing bricks and replace them, without any extra charge. I also found Lee to be very courteous and helpful both before and after the work was done.

If only every interaction with trades were like this. I rang originally and spoke to a very friendly woman who understood everything I needed from 'Ace' including when, where and why. Lee did the inspection when asked, called me afterwards (again as requested) and came up with a very reasonable quote which came in the post within a matter of days with full details about what needed doing and how. I booked 'Ace' in and they a) turned up on time, b) were courteous to my neighbours and let them know about the likely noise, c) were super-efficient, d) were polite and pleasant, and e) dropped the certificate in the very next day to enable me to get on quickly with reclaiming retention monies from the mortgage company. I went with 'Ace' due not only to comments that appear here on Checkatrade, but also through several word-of-mouth recommendations. They were all justified - a real first-class service.
