Dave was very helpful. He listened to what I wanted and did it. He also put up a blind for me while he was here. Would definitely employ him again.

Salon refurbishment
My nail and beauty salon has just had a major refurbishment which involved knocking two rooms into one, partitioning a new room and installing a new hairdressing salon. Dave done all the work himself from carpentry to plumbing including the decorating, to a very high standard. I receive lots of comments from my clients who all love the new salon!

Painting hallway, landing, stairs and ceilings, fixing dishwasher door
Found Dave here on check a trade and picked him as good reviews and so local. We were not disappointed, he was brilliant - thoroughly professional throughout. From typed quote to turning up on time on day he said he would and then got straight on with the job - rare for many workmen in our experience! Was a quick worker, even plastered lots of cracks before painting which did not expect, then finished all edges with sealant everywhere. Competitive price too for a 1st class job. All this and he's a really nice friendly quiet chap too. Already have other jobs for him to do in future. Only slight problem is he is so booked up in advance now which should be expected! At last we have found someone we can trust!

Full decoration of hallway, including plastering and rebuilding wall
The work carried out by Dave was absolutely first rate, especially considering he was bombarded with questions from my 3 year old all week, which he dealt with a great sense of humour!
What started out as a straightforward decorating quote, turned into rebuilding a wall and cupboard that rehoused my electrics, plastering and wall papering, as I continued to come up with more jobs! All were done perfectly and I am over the moon with the results. Have recommended him to friends and have already had him back for some repairs required to another room which we needed done immediately - Dave came over the next day to look and this work was completed that weekend.
I am now planning on having wiring done throughout the house for new TV sockets etc, my bathrooms redone and more painting.... all by Dave.
