Re-point chimney stacks and exterior decorating.
Advanced Roofing initially came to repair and repoint our roof and chimney stacks.  We were so impressed with Danny and Brian that we asked them to undertake our exterior decorating. Will definitely use them again in the future.  I would recommend them.

Repair to flat roof, replacing 2 tiles and cowl on chimney.
I was told the work would take half a day, never received a written estimate, did not arrive when he said then the job only took him 1 and a 1/2 hours, I feel it was very expensive and regret using them.

Response from Advanced Roofing:
I sent the customer a quote and she accepted it, we sent two roofers to carry out the work straight away, as the customer was worried about water running into the electric through the leaking roof. We repaired the roof and also put a new cowl on the chimney pot and replaced two tiles. The customer was told it would take 1/2 a day but that was only if one roofer did the job, we sent two so the job was completed in half the time, if the quote was too expensive, why did she accept it. We carried out the work quickly and efficiently.

Leaking roof.
Mr Quinn was charming and helpful before he was given the job. After he had been paid he was unwilling to return to rectify the continuing water leak. When I rang him he was rude and put the phone down on me.

Report from Traditional Roofing; "After inspecting work carried out by Mr Quinn of Advanced Roofing, we could not find anything wrong with the work. It was carried out as per quotations dated 23 January 2007. After gaining access to one of the flats we found wall paper falling off the walls, there was also wet washing hanging on a line in the front of the flat which has double glazing, you could not see out of the window due to condensation. This has nothing to do with Advanced Roofing, they have carried out their contract to this customer."
