I started my own painting and decorating company in 1999 and have over 24 years experience in the building industry. My company is based on the belief that the customers' needs are of the utmost importance. My entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my decoration and refurbishment business is from repeat customers.

My company has completed many successful painting, decorating and refurbishment projects for the commercial and residential sectors in Brighton, East Sussex and beyond.

One of the refreshing things about Alan was his timely provision of a good detailed written quote at the outset of the instruction. He was easy to contact, came round to the property to give a quote quickly, and he and his assistant Dan, turned around the work in the time estimate provided. I recommend him and hope to use his services again in the future.

Excellent quality of work, very courteous and professional. Alan and his team were faced with delays due to adverse weather (the snow!) nevertheless he kept me well informed about changes in the schedule. I would highly recommend Alan.

Alan had a difficult task as the windows were multi-pane metal crital windows in oak surrounds and he had to seek technical assistance as to the best materials to use.  He completed a professional job in the quoted time scale and I felt confident leaving him with free access to the property whilst we were not there. I have already recommended him to a number of my neighbours with similar window problems.

Filled in a wall and plastered it.
They filled in a wall between the sitting room and annexe. Plastered the whole and made good. Very good work. Efficient, clean and quick.

Plumbing emergency- water pouring from tap and pipe.
It is such a relief to have someone who you know you can rely on, particularly when you're in a fix. Mr Blakey has proved to me he will get to you as quickly as possible, that he will arrive when he says he will and that he will do a great job at a very reasonable price. It's also reassuring to be kept informed all along the way, so there are no surprises at the end of the job. Great service!
