A few minor plumbing problems all dealt with successfully. The reason for only 9 out of 10 workmanship is that the downstairs toilet cistern continued to overflow (though no longer dripping onto the carpet) and we had to arrange for a second visit to put this right. But we were very satisfied with the helpful response when we rang to say there was still a problem. And we are happy with the final result.

When giving estimate identified the need to make safe out of date electrics which although was an additional cost it has now made our property up to date and given peace of mind. Upon arrival immediately placed covers over the carpets due to adverse weather conditions outside. Removed old shower and replaced with new power shower. Made good all holes left from previous one. Because of the way that the cistern and toilet have been installed, this proved to be a somewhat difficult job, in a confined space. However, Ray had to come back the following day, because there was still a small leak. Despite the time that Ray had to spend to fix the problems, the bill was, in my opinion, remarkably low.

Ray fitted two sets of taps for us (one set of thermostatic bath taps, one set of kitchen taps) and replaced the refill valve within the toilet. He gave us a good idea about how long the jobs would take, and the likely cost, before undertaking the work. He arrived on time, at a time that fitted in around our work commitments, and took the trouble to explain what he was doing at different stages of the job. He also offered some good advice about an unrelated boiler issue, and impressed us with his honesty by suggesting there was no need for us to replace the bathroom sink taps - “if they're not broken, I wouldn't worry too much about replacing them“; which, as new home owners, we were very grateful for. Very considerate and tidy. I'd have no trouble recommending Ray to a friend/family member.
