Thoughts of retirement at 65 vanished as work keeps coming in.  After 45 years in the industry there is still something new and something different to deal with on a regular basis to keep me interested in the job. 

We are increasingly asked for bathroom and kitchen planning and fitting as well as new boiler/radiator installations, boiler services, breakdowns and general plumbing work.  We are still heavily involved (on a voluntary basis) with Cat & Rabbit Rescue, Sidlesham, ensuring their state of the art plumbing systems are all in order. 

Checkatrade is still bringing some lovely customers to us who know they are getting an accountable tradesman, good value for money and a quality job.  If I can keep your old boiler working you will not be talked into having a new one.

Five years since 'going it alone' and I have never looked back.  Valerie and I have made some very good friends through the business and we value the work that comes our way.

Servicing of gas boiler.
Very good. Even pointed out and put right a part that had not been installed correctly by another firm. Will employ next year for my boiler annual service. Also answered my original query promptly which is more than any of the other firms I phoned did.

Removal and replacement of sanitary ware for a cloakroom.
Alex Deacon did a first class job in changing the sanitary ware in our cloakroom. What came over particularly was his vast experience and his knowledge of how to deal with any problem that presented itself. I have no hesitation in recommending him and would go back to him for any assistance re plumbing issues. He was polite, cheerful, a good time-keeper and confident. E-mails to him and his supporting wife were always answered during the lead-up to the work carried out, which were helpful and constructive.

Fitting new kitchen mixer tap and fitting new filters to shower unit.
Fully focused on giving customer satisfaction and completing work to a high standard. Val arranged for Alex to fit in my work at very short notice which was greatly appreciated. Clearly an experienced, knowledgeable and professional engineer in all aspects of his trade. Installed boiler and sorted blockage problems.
Alex was friendly, reliable and honest. From our first contact we felt like we were in safe hands. He sorted out all our problems with the minimum of fuss and was a pleasure to have in the house. Having a large family means green issues are one of our priorities and we were over the moon on realising that this is on Alex's priority list also. Our new boiler is working lovely and we are noticing a significant saving already because of the economy settings. We would definitely recommend Alex to everyone.
