Loft conversion with dormer - bedroom and shower room
We would recommend Steven Johnson of All Loft Conversions without reservation. Steven combines being a very skilled carpenter with being an organised and professional project manager. We were impressed throughout the job by the thought and care that Steven puts into his work. Commendably he made us feel as if our loft conversion was equally important to him as it was to us even though he has converted many before. Steven was present and involved in every stage of the build and he employed a team whose general work ethic was equally as impressive. This meant that we always felt that our house and our family were in safe hands. Steven and his team would always ‘go the extra mile.’ This refreshing approach meant, that instead of trying to cut corners or skimp on work that wouldn’t obviously show, extra time was taken to make sure that, for example, wood from the timber yard was straight, walls tacked well, special attention was given to areas that Steven knew, over time, could develop cracks and any little snags were dealt with immediately and successfully. This pride in their work was also apparent in the finer details of the job. We love our hinges, door handles and sturdy doors! Steven and his team were always willing to advise on anything from general layout to plumbing and electrical choices but were also respectful and accommodating of our own tastes. To conclude, the build was a surprisingly enjoyable experience (they can also sing in tune!) and we are left with a fantastic loft conversion, including a beautiful shower room and we have met some lovely, honest and hardworking people.
