APL did an excellent job and installed downlighters in our new kitchen without the need to access the ceiling cavity from above, thus avoiding the need to lift carpets and move furniture in the room above. They were able to offer advice about positioning the down lighters to achieve the best lighting effect. APL also replaced the power sockets and switch plates with chrome ones which smartened the appearance of the kitchen considerably.

We were extremely pleased with the work that APL did for us, particularly since this was out first experience at turning a house into a rental property and moving overseas at the same time. The work quoted was done as quoted (or in some cases at lower cost) and in the time frame required to meet deadlines. Communication was excellent, which was important since much of the work was done (the damage discovered after the initial report) after we had relocated. Quotations were returned very quickly and information was thorough. Michael took photos and emailed them to us to show damage found in the attics. The house was vacant and we left the keysafe code for their access. Neighbours report that the APL people were courteous, neat and tidy as they came and went. I would not hesitate to recommend them and, in fact, have already recommended them to our letting agent and to an associate who is involved in buy-to-let properties in Hampshire. We couldn't be more pleased for many jobs very well done!

Well what a relief it is to work along side a very skilled and polite individual with plenty of experience in his field. Michael has helped us with many projects and always will go the extra mile to help us even when he also has his own large customer base to deal with. Michael is always clean and tidy and treats our clients homes as if it was his own. As always excellent service and we thank you for all your help throughout the last 5 months.

Pleasingly low disruption despite work being done in every room of the house. Wiring was added with minimal damage and the one mistake made was quickly corrected. Kept us informed and consulted us at each stage of the work. Pleasant and polite without being overly chatty, they were very easy to have work in our house.
