Hello, and welcome to APL Electrical,

My name is Paul Shearwood, Myself and my business partner Michael Schulz own and operate our business A.P.L Electrical.

We are Residential-Commercial-Industrial Electrical contractors and can offer the following services:

  • Electrical design- installation and maintenance of all electrical services- Inspection Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations-
  • Three Phase electrical installation- Fire Alarms-Emergency Lighting -control systems-telephone/data services- TV and satellite installation/distribution- intruder alarms

Here at A.P.L Electrical our focus is firmly set on customer service and satisfaction. We aim to give a High Quality Service at an extremely competitive price , we also pride ourselves in the cleanliness of our installation works and we are committed to the highest standards of professional expertise, skill and integrity.

We also offer a free no obligation estimate service and once we have an appointment booked we actually turn up when we say we will which goes a long way with all our existing customer base and all new clients.

We are registered approved contractors with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) and we also are registered members ofthe buy with confidence scheme which is run through Hampshire county Council and Hampshire Trading Standards.

Whatever your electrical needs, we have the experience, knowledge and skills to help you from minor additions and upgrading of existing facilities such as rewires, new fuse boards and intruder/fire alarms, to large-scale new build installation projects, shop fitting and refurbishments; we offer an unrivalled service.

CCTV installation

I have used APL before and will never use anyone else. I know they will always provide the best service, they will offer the best advice and they will complete the work to an exceptional standard. This time I had Paul up a ladder installing CCTV at my home. As always he was chatty, friendly, fast, accurate and obsessively neat and tidy. Top marks boys!

New works fitting Electrics into a portable cabin

From our initial meeting to discuss the project, through to the quote stage to the final completion of the installation, we found that Paul. Michael and Ben, to be very professional, friendly, helpful and the most tidy contractors that we have ever come across. Even when we asked for extra work to be carried out at short notice, they fitted us in around other jobs they were doing without any problems. We would have no hesitation in employing APL Electrical should we require future electrical projects carried out.

New Fuse box replaced in garage

Paul rectified the work which had been carried out by a previous so called electrician. In spite of paying twice for the work at least we feel safe now that Paul has completed and checked the now up to date fusebox and delivered the necessary Certificate which had been non-exist ent with the previous electrician. Very capable and pleasant manner and very nice young assistant. Pleasure to deal with and would recommend him to anyone
