“Arrived on time, but spent most of the two hours trying to convince me that I needed my front garden dug up and new mains pipes fitted. (completely unnecessary as the water board did this repair). I felt viewed as a walking cash machine. He charged me £436.70 to put a tap on the pipe leading to the water tank. The next day it was still leaking through the kitchen ceiling and spotted and quickly rectified by plumbers I had in two days later. He phoned me a few weeks later asking about his quote for getting a new bathroom fitted. I told him I got someone else to do it who rectified his work.”

Response from Allerco Plumbing and Heating:
The works carried out at this client dwelling was completed with satisfaction with the invoice completed as to works carried out and advice on more work required, as this work can be completed during normal working hours and at a cheaper rate. The cost stated by the client includes labour, parts, vat and wasn't just for changing a tap. Previous works had been undertaken leaving this client with no water to the storage tank, missing pipework, air locks within service pipes, no warning attached to storage tank and mains service valve inoperable. This client doesn't see eye to eye with the owner of the flat below and requested our help to identify the mains water pipe passing through ground floor flat and a new bathroom installation. Due to circumstances, the client was given information, advice and shown the best way forward to prevent confrontation. You just can’t please some clients no matter how helpful you are. The client did not call back under our guarantee to repair any fault which may occur after we had left.
