“We were paying by the hour and felt that the company deliberately worked slowly and continually underestimated the number of hours to do the work. For example, after the wall was full prepared, the tiler and the boss said that it would be quick to put up the tiles and take about 3 hours. 8 hours later, it was still far from being finished. No explanation given for this. This happened on several days. No receipts for materials. They charged us for their shopping time. They refused to remove the rubbish accumulated during the job. The plumbing fittings haven't been fitted correctly so work needs redoing.”

Response from Allerco Plumbing and Heating:
As a customer you are responsible to oversee all tradesmen that carryout works at your dwelling any delays can be disused at that time to reduce delay. As your family decided to attend the park to enjoy the hot sunny weather our engineer continued to work in the heat of your bathroom. The tiling was 97 completed with extra works being carried out other tiles falling of another wall a large volume of cuts required grouting polishing. No receipts are offered when purchasing through the business accounts. Any additional materials required to be obtained to complete your works are chargeable. This customer requested to stop work as they couldn’t afford to continue hence rubbish not removed as work not completed. Plumbing fittings were correct as new shower was ordered to fit connecting fittings. I will be taking action against this customer for outstanding invoice.
