We have just had 10 replacement windows and a door fitted, including a bay window, and are delighted with the quality of the installation. We looked at a number of companies over a period of a year or so before selecting Alpha Windows to quote, based on their reviews on Checkatrade and Which Local. Ian came out to do the quote and it was very nice to know that he would also be doing the installation. He was able to make several helpful suggestions such having the latches for the kitchen windows at the bottom so that I could actually reach them over the sink, and took careful note of our requirements for a grained wood finish and particular glass types and glazing bars to achieve the look we wanted. We also visited their showroom and talked though the actual installation process and were impressed with the care taken to achieve a good quality finish. They obviously take considerable pride in their workmanship. Ian, Mark and Dan arrived on time, were cheerful and polite, clean and tidy while working– and the finish of the windows inside and out is immaculate. The key factors for us are the quality of product and installation, but on top of that the price was also very reasonable. We are very pleased and would highly recommend them.

Very fast and competitive quote and unlike all the other quotes I'd requested I didn't have to sit through the salesperson's life story and calls to "the manager" to get the price reduced. Nor did they feel the need to slag off all the competition. That alone decided in Alpha's favour even though they weren't the cheapest. Paperwork emailed rather than snail mailed, much appreciated. Only minor complaints that I had to remind them to get a time for the window to be installed and on the day they arrived quite late and only just managed to finish in time (I'd told them that we had an appointment that had to be kept and therefore needed to be out of the house at a specific time). Overall very efficient and excellent product. Will go to Alpha for all future window replacements.

Quality of work very good. The Windows look great. Was kept informed of price and any unexpected items that came about. Only concern I had was that some paint work around the windows was damaged and although plastered was not painted. Also some Curtains that were on the windows were not replaced but this can be argued as not in the scope of the job. Those excluding I'm very happy with the work.

Mark gave good advice on all aspects of the design of the door and canopy. He turned my rough pencil drawing of a canopy into the finished design, manufactured the frame and had gallows supports made. He employed a tiler. All the workmanship was to a very high standard and the finished work is excellent. Highly recommended.
