This was a very tall and wide evergreen which was preventing our solar panels working efficiently. The three young men arrived at 8.45am and worked through until 4.00pm with two 1/2 hour breaks. The tree was surrounded - a workshop, a boundary fence, a rose garden and an orchard but the timber was cut with care and dropped without causing any damage. Then branch by branch it was moved to an open space in the garden, cut down to manageable pieces to be burnt by us when convenient. All the small debris was then raked up and put with the rest.

The work was carried out to a very high standard. On each tree they checked I was satisfied with the work before moving on to the next. Cleared and chipped 95% of the pruned items. After they had left found a couple of felled branches they had missed clearing up ,hence only the score of 9 for tidiness. Very polite and considerate workman

Fittleworth Parish Council was asked by West Sussex to find a tree surgeon to remove a tree that had come down in high winds and was blocking the road - the police had closed it and were keen to open it quickly. The contractors West Sussex used couldn't do the job until the next day but Andrew Gale came to our rescue and did a fantastic job, liaising with West Sussex and the parish councillors on my behalf, opening the road that day and doing a great tidy up job the next day. Great service and very reasonably priced!

We had to change our plans after they were agreed in order to split the various jobs in two. Mr Gale accommodated our request without a quibble. His team worked hard on several tasks on a hot day, did everything as agreed (except for having to abandon one tree because of a nesting protected species, but will complete the job when they return in the autumn). We were impressed by the thoroughness with which the team cleared up afterwards. As agreed beforehand, they cut up numerous logs for our wood burning stove.

Cannot praise highly enough. At initial site visit Andrew was happy to discuss what was wanted and give advice way beyond what we knew. On the day the team arrived promptly despite horrendous weather and worked solidly. Very courteous and professional. Despite a bad day for weather (it rained heavily in the late morning) the job was carried out very efficiently. The work was to reduce the height of the trees behind our property. All the lopped branches were cleared completely and the lawn was swept of all remaining leaves and twigs. There was no damage to any plants.
