Extension and renovations on a unimproved semi.
Apollo Builders started well and work progressed, initially, at a fast pace. Very disappointed that the worked slowed down considerably and almost came to a halt . I feel that the trader mismanaged the entire budget, generally wasteful. Many jobs left unfinished poor quality workmanship. I would not recommend this trader.

Apollo Builders set up agreement to refurbish entire property and to be paid In stages and stages to be eked by customer .In my opinion for 10 stages during the major refurbishment never once did the customer have anything negative to say about anything being done or schedule In fact had praise for extensive work and Ideas not In original guide quote. At stage 10 I employed someone who the customer had personal Issues with unknown to me at this point customer was going over budget and was brought up at weekly meetings each week for at least two weeks prior to this point. The customer one night changed the locks on the house and did not give any warning or allow me to remove my tools from the property which only had my tools Inside because I employed this person. She stated to me she did not want Apollo Builders to carry on any further and was unhappy with my decision not to dismiss this person. I stated at this meeting that I was stIll working on the street and was not running off and would do anything to help situation .I have worked In the local area for a few years now and have full support of the village and local businesses. and do not feel the customers comments are faIr.

Bungalow gutted - 3 dormers added and an extension
Douglas has been converting our small bungalow over the last 6 months. It was completely gutted and we now have the equivalent of a brand new chalet bungalow, with the extension and dormers he has built - totally new wiring, plumbing, and a beautiful new kitchen. He has taken great care and thought over even the smallest detail... giving us advice on what would be the best and most economical solution. He has rebuilt the bungalow as though it were his own and nothing has been too much trouble. I have no hesitation in recommending Apollo builders, they have worked continuously on our property and didn't disappear off to other jobs as I've had other builders do in the past. Although the quote was very reasonable and I was worried that they would do a shoddy job, in fact the reverse was true and the finish is excellent.

Removal of old fireplace/Complete redecoration of Lounge
I cannot fault the work done by Douglas and Bill.(Cool) Nothing was too much trouble especially when unexpected problems occurred. They were courteous, helpful, on time and at the end of the day always cleaned and tidied up. I will definitely be using them again and will recommend them to anyone looking for a builder. Thanks for a great job, really happy with my new Lounge.
