New Turbo and MOT

Replacement radiator
Have been using Approved Autos for some years now. All the work done has been to a high standard and never needed re-visiting. They diagnose while you wait without charge in my experience. I just had the radiator replaced but I always get them to do my MOT as well. If it fails it gets fixed usually within the same day. They do a good deal on tyres as well so it is always worth getting a quote. I pay by bank transfer which seems to work well.

Major service on a VW Golf
Approved Autos were recomended by our daughter and son in law as we previously had had problems with the main agent. They picked up the car in the morning and dropped it off in the evening. They did a good service on the car at a reasonable cost

Diagnostic for engine and abs fault
Had the car a couple of days earlier to see if they could do a quick fix but had to re-book at a later date. Always helpful and polite with coffee and homemade cookies offered. Kept me informed of costs and time. Spot on with both. Mercedes would have been at least double. Already recommended a friend. 10/10 for everything. Will use them in future for all car problems. Even my wife felt comfortable here, which is unusual for a garage

MOT, Cambelt change and service
We found this garage by accident, we have used quite a few garages in the past but I will continue to use this one. They are very friendly and reliable, the cost is very reasonable compared to some places, they call you if they find anything else wrong before they start working on your vehicle, and at a very reasonable cost. Also what I found nice was the engineers explain to you what the problem is without trying to confuse you, so that you have a better understanding of the problem. And the wife at the front desk also as lovely homemade biscuits for their customers, a lovely touch I think, now you don't get that anywhere else.

Cambelt kit and water pump replaced
Work carried out to a very high standard and most reasonably priced, which is why I came back again and again. 100% reliable and honest team. Even replaced bulbs and tightened handbrake at no extra charge, highly recommended.

Engine repair to a Mercedes SLK AMG
I took my Mercedes SLK AMG to Approved Autos at Camberley following a recommendation from a fellow car enthusiast and friend. The trader was able to diagnose an intermittent fault which caused a lack of power when the engine had been worked hard for a short time. He replaced the secondary water pump and the car has run perfectly ever since. A world famous main dealer had been unable to find the problem despite giving me a large service bill, which was more than double their original quote. The difficulty I have now is that by recommending Approved Autos in open forums such as this they may become overwhelmed with work, but they have always seemed to find time to fit in our small fleet of family cars.
