We are a small, family run tree surgery company based in Worthing.  We undertake all aspects of tree care throughout the south-east providing services to both private and commercial customers.  This can range from trees in private gardens and on large estates to woodland management.  We are also a Trading Standards approved company with a Public Liability insurance of £5million.

ArbTec Tree Care was founded by Phil Arnott in 2003.  He finally fulfilled his life long passion for trees by training for four years at Plumpton College in East Sussex where he achieved a Higher National Diploma in Forestry and the Royal Forestry Society Certificate in Arboriculture.  He is also an Associate Member of the Arboricultural Association

Our comprehensive range of services include; Tree pruning, felling, planting, cable bracing, stump removal, hedge trimming, weed control, tree surveys, and Tree Preservation Order (TPO) applications.

Pruning a tree which was snagging BT's telephone cable

Reasonable quote. Turned up in good time. Double-checked exactly what I wanted *before* doing any cutting. Removed all debris and left the garden tidy. Completely met my requirements.

Felled a large tree and cleared all debris

Excellent work - they took care not to damage any other plants in the garden and took their time felling around the phone lines. They were asked to save some suitable sections of the tree for wood turning which they did and even without asking they offered and carried these large sections to where I needed them. Truly dedicated tradesman who took great pride in their service, I would recommend them without question.

Fell Large 60ft + Lime tree in rear Garden

Phil and his team arrived on time in the morning and went straight to work. They were extremely proficient in their task. I was impressed that they all had the correct personal protective equipment and used it well. They completed the task very quickly with no fuss and cleared up extremely well afterwards. Very Highly recommended and I will use again.. A++++

Arbutus tree stump reduced and treated so that it will rot away

Philip took care to get the stump as low as possible, despite us discovering a metal rod which had been an original support and around which the trunk had grown. He also cut down a small shrub trunk which was a big help and left the site as tidy as was possible.

Tree Pruning and Tree Preservation Order Application

Phil gave us a quote that included all the tree work and the tree preservation order application. Once the application had been approved Phil arrived on time, he did the work perfectly as per the preservation order. They cleaned up after all the work had been completed. I am very happy with the result so I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Phil.
