Repairs to my Mother's 32" LCD TV

Following my early afternoon S.O.S. Phone call from Plymouth to Mr Smith that my 97 year old Mother's TV was giving trouble (cause unknown) he was at her house later that afternoon to diagnose a simple problem and get it up and running for her at very reasonable cost. Excellent speedy and courteous service! Now have him book marked on my computer for any future problems.

LCD TV was flickering but it turned out to be the Virgin box rather than TV causing the problem.

He said it may be the power supply unit in the TV and quoted to replace if necessary. On inspection it was the box causing the problem so he recommended calling them out. His fee for the call out and inspection etc I felt was fair. He was polite and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone else and will use him again if necessary.

New tv installation and setup, plus previous tv repairs

Malcolm Smith of A.T.V. Services, Horndean has always kept me informed regarding tv repairs and, when supplying my new tv installed today, as to when it would be delivered and installed. He is a delightful gentleman, courteous, punctual, extremely efficient and I would most certainly recommend him and A.T.V. Services to anybody looking for a faultless standard of work at fair prices.

Repair of SAMSUNG plasma TV

I found Malcolm's phone number on here and gave him a ring. I described the fault over the phone and he knew straight away what the problem was. He turned up on time the following day and the fault was as he thought, which he fixed straight away. I would have absolutely no problem in using or recommending him in the future.

Install my new TV

After my mother's old tv went kaput, I ordered one from Currys. I called Malcolm, he arrived promptly, was friendly and expertly installed freeview, sky and a dvd player in a flash. From the gobbledegook instruction manual that flummoxed me and prompted the call, It was great watching the expert work without bothering with the so-called manual. He was even patient enough to go through the operation of the tv with me so I could explain it to my mother. A lovely man

Retune video recorder

I located ATV Services on the Checkatrade web site and booked a service visit. Malcolm was in our area having completed a previous job early and phoned to see if he could come to look at the video recorder 24 hours before the appointment time which was possible. He quickly identified that it needed retuning, undertook this and checked that both the video recorder and television were now both working correctly. I would have now hesitation in both using and recommending ATV Services in the future.
