Given the dubious reputation attributed to builders, the most important requirement of the customer is confidence, and I had that in abundance after selecting Avalon to carry out my extensive refurbishment. The estimate was detailed and professional, the tradesmen were reliable, punctual, friendly and helpful, and the finished product far exceeded my expectations.

Generally I would recommend Avalon to anyone. They were by far and away the best contractor at the quote stage - Steve was brilliant. Throughout the project I knew I could always contact Miros and Ivan if there were any issues and they were always resolved in an extremely timely manner. For the job to be completed ahead of time and pretty much exactly on budget was brilliant. The final work quality was excellent. For any other refurbishment work I would not hesitate to use Avalon again and will gladly recommend them.

Avalon was recommended to me by my friend whose house looked wonderful after they worked on it. The quotation was provided quickly and was very competitive. The work was carried out efficiently and as per time schedule. The site foreman often made an appearance, and the workmen were very competent. We had some delays due to rain but overall the job finished on time, when last cosmetic touch ups were carried out - most builders' Achilles' heel. They will certainly the first port of call for the quotes for future jobs for us. Overall a great experience.
