Strip and replace tiles on main valley of roof

Good work but took too long, would have preferred them to work longer hours and 6 days a week to alleviate scaffolding being up for so long.

Response from B & H Roofing Services:
The job was expected to take two weeks, but unfortunately when the old slates were removed it was found that major additional works were required and this meant that the contract had to be extended by a further two weeks. In addition to this, the customer wanted to provide their own slates, they sourced them, telling us exactly what size they had bought, but when the slates were due they were unable to provide them, we were then asked to purchase slates, but unfortunately we could not get the size they had said they had on order, so the roof had to be stripped of the felt and batten and basically the work had to re-start from near scratch. The lengthened contract was finished on time despite the problems created in my opinion by the customer. Work days cannot be lengthened due to the light hours and health & safety.
