Aga service.
Left a message for Barry last night and he called today to say he would be round in the next half hour. Within a short while he had cleaned the Aga burner which had burnt carbon which was blocking the flame, added new wicks and re-lit it. The entire time he was here there was a light hearted banter - a real professional who takes pride in his work and never over charges. I shall be passing round his business cards to anyone with an oil fired Aga or boiler, really can't recommend him enough. I've even sung his praises on Facebook.

Service of AGA and boiler
Barry Gregory is an expert on AGA's and boilers and totally dependable. He always attends when asked, is punctual and well organised. He also attends straightaway in an emergency. He is also a very nice man.

Got oil boiler working after overheat
Barry came over at short notice today after my boiler cut out last night. He checked the boiler (internal) and the burner (external) and the burner had no power. The problem was with the overheating safety switch. He pushed the reset button and it sprang back to life. After suggesting some work to the pipes and the 3-way valve, along with a rough estimate of cost, he left without charge. Yes, without charge! He is very local and had another job this afternoon, but this is still proper customer service and as soon as I can afford the changes recommended, he will be getting my call!

Saved the day..... TWICE!!
Barry was recommended by a family friend. We agreed date and price for external combi boiler service. But before we moved into our 1st home boiler stopped working and Barry came over the very next morning! He correctly diagnosed the controller / pcb as faulty, he told me where to call and buy it myself and use his discount. Got the part and fitted it with my father-in-law and problem solved. Separate occasion pump packed up, he helped me fault diagnose on phone, but eventually came round SAME DAY and went out of his way to fix problem as it was cold and had no heating or hot water! Fantastic bloke!

Giving advice after heating failed, priming the boiler after we ran out of oil and getting the central heating working again
When we our heating failed on Sunday evening we phoned BG Boilers, Barry advised us to check oil level in tank - it was empty due to failure of our Sonic Signalman. Oil delivered next day at 11am, within a very short space of time Barry arrived to prime the boiler and the house was soon warm again. Could not have wished for a speedier service or better advice. Courteous, polite and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Repaired leak on toilet.
Barry turned up when he said. He would and fixed the leak very quickly. He was clean, tidy and very reasonably with his price.

Emergency call out on Saturday.
I moved to Barry Gregory two years ago after dealing with another well known service Engineers for many years who let me down by refusing to come out for emergency. Barry came out on 26/01/2013 within one hour of my urgent request fairly early in the morning. The oil pump on the boiler was broken and Barry fixed it quickly. I continue to have much confidence in Barry's ability and also reliability.

Oil fired boiler service.
I phoned and told Barry that our boiler was chucking out soot, he phoned back about 15 minutes later and told us to turn it off and he would be with us in about an hour as he couldn't leave us without heating in this weather, he serviced our boiler. This was a Saturday afternoon, he was punctual, polite and did the work all for the normal rate he charges to service the boiler even though it could be described as an emergency. Well done Barry! I'd be lost without you, I wouldn't go elsewhere!
