After flood damage, Paul came in and assessed the work without us on site. He recommended a cost effective solution so as not to have wastage and laid a new carpet and underlay. We did not inspect the work or choose the carpet until the weekend after he finished - but the workmanship was excellent, the choice of carpet superb and it felt better than before. Thank you

Because we had quite a thick carpet he used thicker (than he'd normally use) carpet grip and used a high quality underlay as standard which was better than the one I had been researching and quoted for by another company. He also found a solution for a tricky part of the top stair which was protruding. Would fully recommend

Paul was extremely helpful in finding the design of stair carpet we were looking for and made many trips out to show us different sample books until we found the perfect pattern for us. On fitting day he arrived on time and completed the work to a very high standard which included spending a lot of time planning and measuring to make sure the pattern was central before cutting and installing. I would highly recommend Barnard Flooring and we will certainly be using his services in the future.

This was an insurance claim with wooden boards needing to be replaced in a large room because of water damage. Paul gave a competitive quote, which was accepted. The work took two days and he has done an excellent job. He was courteous, punctual and easy to contact by phone and email. After having an extension put on the back of our house we needed to think about what to put on our Floor, we had been put off having laminate flooring because of the noise and look of or old laminate, but after contacting Barnard flooring Paul came round to our house and gave us the options assuring us that with a quality underlay the noise would not be a problem. The range of laminate he recommended was great and we picked a Quickstep board. Barnard flooring supplied the flooring including underlay and skirting to match came round prepared the floor and fitted it with absolutely no problems. We would use Barnard flooring again and recommend them to anyone because of the professional advice and service they give at the same price if not cheaper than the high street chains.

Having used Barnard Flooring to carpet our whole house except for these 2 rooms back in December 2010, we decided that we wanted to upgrade the 2 remaining floors in the house with vinyl flooring. Having been so satisfied with their work and prices beforehand we didn't even bother to get an alternative quote which is very unusual for us. We were visited within a day or so and a quote was provided which was very reasonable. The materials were ordered there and then and the work carried out only 2 working days later. The work was complete in 1 day as promised and to the same very high standard. Paul even fixed a few extra bits and pieces along the way which was well out of the scope of the agreed work for no additional charge. The work is carried out extremely conscientiously and the price quoted is always the price paid. I can't recommend Barnard Flooring highly enough and some of our friends are now also using their services.

Carried out quickly, courteously, with the minimum of fuss. Just as importantly, I was given a clear quote as soon as the job was measured up (compared to a certain high street chain, who took a week to get me a quote, and a further two weeks to correct the errors it contained). Much better to deal with a smaller business who know what they are doing.

Work was undertaken quickly only 2 days from ordering carpet to it being fitted - even though it was initially out of stock. Excellent service company owner came to the house with samples to choose from gave great advise on the quality of different carpets. Very competitive costs and excellent quality of underlay given at the same cost you would normally pay for a cheap one. Excellent workmanship - I have taken some business cards from him and will certainly be recommending him to others.
