Alan did a great job. He provided me with a detailed estimate and carried out a high standard roof replacement. He disposed of my old garage asbestos roof and replaced it with a 3-layer waterproof flat roof. He also put me in touch with an electrician for the installation of an electric system in the garage.

As well as being quick, professional and courteous, Alan also fixed a couple of broken tiles that he spotted on the roof while he was there - and all for free as part of the original (competitive) quote... which I was obviously very impressed/grateful for! I had damp problems on my hall wall. Alan diagnosed the problem from the outside of the house, repaired leaks on the gutter and down pipe. The result is very good, my wall is now dry and nice. I can highly recommend Alan and his colleague.

Excellent quality work. Quotation given with three options (lead, zinc, fibreglass) after inspection of the damaged roof. We chose lead (with longest lifetime, although most expensive) and BD Roofing were able to start fairly soon after, as soon as the weather allowed. The guttering was leaking at the back of a block of flats. I asked BD Roofing for a quote as I had previously used them. I was provided with the quote and I asked them to carry out the work. It took them a few weeks for the work to be carried out but Christmas was in the middle of it. Alan advised what day the work would be carried and he came on that day. The work was carried out to his usual very high standards. Have recommended them to friends and would use again.

The initial survey and quote was given before Christmas but the poor weather conditions meant that the work could only be carried out now. I was kept in touch with the revised date and the roofers arrived at the time arranged. They cleared the old felting and removed all the debris leaving the area completely clean and tidy. The work was carried out very efficiently and the guys wouldn't even stop for a cup of tea until they had finished completely sealing the roof. They worked quietly and were very polite. I can thoroughly recommend BD Roofing.

I cannot recommend Alan and his workers highly enough. Alan arrives on time, gives a quote that he sticks to and then oversees his guys while they carry out the job. Alan correctly diagnosed the origin of the first leak for us last year, he fixed the roof and we have not had a problem in that area since. He also fitted my Velux blinds!

Nice people, great job, very reasonable price. No hesitation in recommending both the men and the quality of work. The flat roof on our single storey extension was leaking in several places. Alan Cook gave us estimates for both patching and replacement and clearly explained the pros and cons of each. We decided on full replacement. He had guessed right. The boards under the felt were soaked through and very spongy. We now have a 10 year guarantee.
