I have no hesitation in recommending Be Wize Builders. This was a complete bathroom refurb in an old house, requiring re-wiring, re-routing pipes, plastering, floor and wall tiling, painting, installing a bath, shower and all accessories. John was highly professional and supportive from the initial quote stage through to completion of the job, giving us great confidence. He was extremely knowledgeable about a wide range of areas and the quality of his work was exceptional, giving great attention to detail. John was flexible, made helpful suggestions about what to buy and also gave us ideas about layout and finishes, all helping to reduce the stress of the job. John was punctual and trustworthy, having his own set of keys to let himself in and out each day. We will certainly be using John again in the future.

We are very impressed with John's work! He is polite and courteous and extremely tidy. He even hoovered after the job was finished! The tiling and grouting looks great and is done to a high standard. He also identified a problem with our plumbing that has solved a long-standing issue with our boiler pressure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

Our main concern for a room that might not be modernised again for decades was quality, so we were glad to alight on John who did an excellent job for us. Lovely tiling and floor laying and he even lagged the pipes under the floor without us asking which is a first. We were surprised at how big a job it was for such a small space.

Perhaps fitting radiator valves not the most challenging plumbing job but I can't suggest how John could have done better so 10s all round! He made special arrangements to fit the work in quickly given we couldn't have one of our radiators on because of its leaking valve.

John did a fantastic job of installing my new bathroom. It was a job that a few builders declined to quote on. It was very challenging as it is in my loft room, with the added complications of walls that were not straight! The work was done to the very highest of standards, and has completely transformed the room. I actually lose track of time when I'm in there as it is so beautiful! The tiling was impeccable. John is extremely efficient and completely trustworthy. When I returned each evening after work, the rooms was always left spotless of all rubbish and dust. The internal doors were beautifully hung and my new radiator in the hall looks brilliant. This is the second time John has done some work for me and I have been so impressed with his professionalism that he has also installed my parents new shower and basin. Could not recommend Be Wise Builders any more highly!

John re-tile our bathroom, re-fitted the shower and shower enclosure, fixed leaking pipes. We had no problems leaving him the house key and everyday he cleaned up everything before leaving. The tiles on the floor in particular, he did an excellent job, using the same tiles to make the skirting, which looks stunning. John is a very good professional and we would definitely recommend him without hesitation.

I had a tenant who decided to hammer the walls, damage the doors to a wardrobe and break the bed and flooring. John came out sprayed the doors so it matched the rest of the wardrobe (could not get brown doors anymore from Ikea, only white), repaired the walls, bed and redecorated the room and repaired the damage to the floor. I would highly recommend John’s services, and would not hesitate to use him again.

I phoned John as my toilet was leaking and he was round in half an hour. He diagnosed the fault, stopped the leak and returned the next day to fit a part which he had to order. I was really impressed with his speed and efficiency and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Great job at such short notice. Called the day before to ask to give quote as let down by another plumber that day. They came round that night gave a very reasonable quote and free advice if we were going to do the work ourselves. We decided to use them and he came the next day (Saturday). Neat and tidy and very courteous. Would definitely recommend.

John is a great guy. Diligent, reliable and friendly, he swiftly came to assess my leaks, helpfully explained what he could do and at what cost and when I asked him to come to do the job a couple of days later, he went away, ordered the part needed and charged me just the cost price. On the day, he arrived on time and proceeded to get to work - fixing the main issues and then generously offering extra advice and a spare part for a couple of other things I'd not employed him to do. I would not hesitate to recommend John to other people. I work for the BBC and sit close to the Rogue Traders production team. Never in a million will someone like John be on their radar. Others have a lot to learn from his ethics.

Be Wize Builders came out on an emergency when another company took out the window and back door and the wall above (4 bricks high came crashing down, because no lintel had been installed beforehand! Be Wize Builders came out quickly and fitted the lintel and matched the brickwork. Really pleased with the works, would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Jon Wise and his team had a very difficult job in a very small space. I wanted to convert the outside toilet and the cupboard next to it into a toilet/ shower wet-room. It was a lot of work in a small space and he went away to work out how he could fit everything in, made suggestions so it worked and it does. The wall was knocked through, the window moved to the other side of the wet-room (away from the shower) and he advised to put in a larger window. I am really pleased with the finished toilet/shower wet-room and the standard of finish. I would highly recommend him and would definitely use him again. I can't fault any of the work at all. The job took a little longer than John first thought but he stuck to the price quoted. While he was here he also pointed out a problem that we hadn't spotted with the soil pipe which he also fixed as part of the job. Excellent all round, I would recommend to anyone.

John Wise was meticulous about his work and all that I need say is that I have now recommended him to friends and family. He gives honest advice and even came back after being fully paid to repair some movement related cracks and minor snagging points (painting). The finish he achieves and expects from his sub-contractors is of the highest quality.
