Phoned Ali on Sunday evening and explained the problem. He gave an estimate over the phone and arranged to attend at 1pm the following day. On arrival he found the outside mains stopcock, assessed my corroded stopcock, had to leave for 10 minutes to get a new one as he didn't have right size in stock. Returned fitted in minutes, stuck to original price. Very efficient, would use again and highly recommend. Absolute pleasure, saved me loads of problems.

I own a small cafe and my pump is an essential part of the every day workings. I was very much stuck when it broke and was facing the prospect of not being open to trade then following days. Mr Karabiber was incredibly helpful, coming out late into the evening to help me out. He was punctual and very good at keeping me informed of his progress what was going on. I would highly recommend and will most definitely be using this company again.

Amazing. Ali had a really busy day, but told me he would come after his last call, which he did at 8.30pm at night, saying he could not leave me with no hot water and heating, which he didn't. Very good rates. He also showed us how to do the pressure gauge in case it happened again so we wouldn't have to pay for him to do it! Friendly, professional and caring, so I have re-booked him to come and do my boiler service. Definitely recommended.

Blackpepper Limited have provided us with excellent, low cost and professional services for the following items in our home: Emergency boiler repairs and installation of a new Megaflow boiler - altered existing pipework, which has created so much more space! Miele dishwasher drain hose renewal. Installation of new pipework underneath basins. Installed a new flush button push. We would definitely recommend Blackpepper Limited. We were very dissatisfied with the work of Blackpepper. A shower pump they fitted leaked within days of fitting, causing extensive damage to our kitchen ceiling costing a lot to repair. Ali Karabiber refused to accept responsibility for replacing the pump or repairing the ceiling. Still the company refuses to even engage with us. Ali Karabiber may well be able to handle minor plumbing tasks, but he was not competent to handle a shower pump fitting, and was unable to identify the mistakes he made when given the opportunity.

I sourced Ali and Blackpepper plumbing from this site having read the reviews. Our boiler blew following a lightning strike on the house and despite strenuous attempts to fix it was beyond repair. Insurance company agreed to replace it which Ali then did for us, recommending, sourcing and fitting a Grant boiler. He then did a course with Grant culminating in him being allowed to give us a 5 year warranty on his work. He is very courteous, neat and tidy (unlike our last plumber!) and was extremely good at keeping us up to date on his work. He also recommended a couple of worthwhile additions to the plumbing fit. Immaculate work both inside and outside the house. All in all I can highly recommend him and 3 months on our new boiler is working like a dream, better than our Worcester Bosch ever did. Thanks Ali!

After numerous faults with our oil-fired AGA - constantly going out and depositing oily soot everywhere when actually up and running - which another firm failed to solve despite many visits at great expense, leaving it in a dangerous condition and stinking of oil, we turned in desperation to Blackpepper. The difference was amazing. Ali serviced it properly, cleaning it out and fixing all the problems in an afternoon at a very reasonable rate. Now it works properly! He really knows his stuff, that much was abundantly clear, and takes evident pride in his work. Nice man, straightforward, clean and careful, just what you want. I imagine his plumbing work will be of a similar standard. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Ali arrived on the day to unblock the drain from my property to the main sewer, My drain is the last in a run of 8 properties and the run to the sewer about 20 metres. It proved to be more difficult than expected but he persevered and eventually cleared it. His attitude was brilliant and despite filthy working conditions never once complained. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
