“Work carried out in a timely manner. Some repairs required which has fixed one of my leaks, the second leak is now more profound. I contacted the trader and they said they would come back and check the work, which I believe they did. The trader emailed me and advised the problem is with the roof. I have no idea as I am not a roofer. It would be useful if they could provide a roofer to now come and look at this issue. All in all I am happy with the work they undertook and the prompt responses to my emails. I would use them again in the future, but I feel a little let down due to the second leak.”

We thank the customer for their feedback and kind words regarding our service and work we carried out at their property. I am sorry to hear that the customer felt a little let down that we have not provided a roofer. When we called back to the property we carried out a water test to the guttering to identify the leak the customer had reported. We could find no leaks in the guttering. We then ran water over the whole roof, it was at this point we identified water coming out from behind the fascia board, this indicated that water is penetrating through the roof and not a gutter leak. We had a look over the roof tiles to see if we could see any broken tiles that may cause a problem, all were in good condition. I contacted the customer and advised that they required a roofing company as it was a roofing problem and not a guttering problem. At Blue Sky Guttering we pride our self on our honesty and professionalism; we empty and repair guttering only. It would have been dishonest and unprofessional of us to carry out any work on the customers roof as we are not experienced or qualified to carry out roof work.
