Tiled family bathroom

Michael really got us out of a hole when a tiler we had used for many years let us down. We explained our predicament with family coming to stay and he moved heaven and earth to fit us in at short notice. He is very punctual turning up ready for work when he says. He is very tidy and cleaned up each day when he had finished. He quoted it would take a couple of days and that’s exactly what it did. From now on we will use him whenever we need more tiling done.

Michael visited us several times to give us advice - even before he gave us an estimate and started the work. The whole job was completed with absolute care and attention, and the finish was immaculate. He arrived on time every day and we would certainly recommend him, and use him again.

Not just a fantastic tiler....
Not just a fantastic tiler....

Michael tiled our ensuite floor and walls from floor to ceiling in heavy stone tiles and some mosaics and did an excellent job. He was suggested by our plumber Richard Saunt, and both coordinated well together so there were no issues with having two, sometimes 3 or 4 (including electrician and plasterer) people working on our ensuite. Michael had already been recommended to us a year ago by our carpenter (Alan Parsons) as someone who would do a good job and we now know why! He did a very good job, using what looked like a state of the art laser guide to get everything on our walls in line and a brand new cutter which man in Topps Tiles said was the best you could buy, thereby reducing the number of broken tiles (good job too at £99 sqm!). The work over-ran a little because of a few plumbing issues and the poor state of our walls, which had to be re-plasterboarded and tanked in waterproof membrane, but to get the job finished on time Michael came back to finish off over a weekend while we were away. In addition to a brilliant tiling job, Michael also detected a leak in our roof, which was starting to damage our walls; lost time as a result of insisting that we get our ceiling replastered (a much needed job) before getting the bathroom fitted; found a very good plasterer to do the work; painted our ceiling; laid our underfloor heating and cleared up after himself every day. Will definitely be using him again!
