I needed emergency work done to a flat roof which began to leak in the rain just before Christmas. Since speed was of the essence, I didn't quibble with the prices I was quoted, but I think it likely, had there been more time, the work could have been done at a lower cost. If it had not been such a dire emergency, I might well have negotiated the price, and obtained quotations from other companies. I was quoted a price for two parts of the work beforehand, but not for the last part. You ask me to say whether the work was "timely", yes they were very punctual, which was absolutely vital, and I'm very grateful that they were prepared to some at such short notice.

The consequences of the faulty workmanship were potentially extremely serious but it was almost impossible to get a response to voice mail, text messages and emails. There was an extremely casual approach to the question of attending the site to carry out repair, even though we literally had pools of water in the roof.
