Repossession the walls, new ceiling done, new stair hand rail base rail and spindles done.
Nick wood has done all the work himself, he did it perfect job. He is friendly, very tidy and he has knowledge that what to do, I would reccomend him and his company without doubt.

Wall and chimney removal plus new kitchen fitted
Nick and Brad overcame many difficulties presented to them by a not very good Howden kitchen designer.The work they have done looks amazing and they work very well as a team and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

New roof with velux window, soffits, guttering
Excellent job. Turned up on time every day and worked incredibly hard, even on a weekend, as we wanted the job done quickly. Finished roof looks fantastic. Several neighbours have commented on how good it looks. Kept site very clean and tidy, always polite and courteous and let us know what was happening as the job proceeded. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Knocked an internal wall down, new ceilings in bathroom and hall and lighting
A relatively small job, but the work was carried out in a timely fashion to a high standard. All the guys were polite, trustworthy and more than helpful. Would definately use Bridgewood again and recommend them to others.

Roof work, installation of shower, soil pipe re-run, Squaring off back building, kitchen replacement
I cannot recommend this company. Despite being informed before starting that part of the job would be sacrificial if the
available budget was at risk, when that point came, the contractors attitude changed and I found that his manner could have been better. More than one electrician was involved in the required work and this delayed the electrical sign off until I complained. In my opinion, I felt that the contractor chose to ignore written specified details or dismiss it as irrelevant or over the top. Some work will need to be re-done. Overall, I found it a bad and expensive experience.

Bridgewood Builders try very hard to please all our customers. This is not always possible. The customer insisted on completing some of the electrical works himself, he is not qualified to edition 17 of part P domestic installations; we spent 3 days putting his sub standard work right, at no cost to him. We dispute all of the comments the customer has made, we only used one electrician and he issued the certificate, yes it was late but as soon as I realised what had happened the certificate was issued. If the customer had called me, this oversite would have been rectified immediately. As for the budget we kept him informed constantly about the changes that he made and the cost implications and he agreed them all. We did not at any time show the customer any disrespect we knew that he was in poor health and tried very hard to keep mess to a minimum tools tidy and supplies neatly stored. At no time did he point out that any work was to a poor standard. I would like to finish by saying that we have lots of very satisfied customers as you all can see.

Install kitchen lighting, treat and re decorate water damaged ceiling
Although only a relatively minor job, we found Nick and his colleagues to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable and courteous throughout. The works were done on time and to a high standard. Would definitely use them again.
