The work involved first clearing away a large number of old patio slabs, conifers and shrubs, then building the new patio with several design features including steps, inlaid brick circles and a sandstone brick wall. This was mainly carried out in the Winter of 2010, and Andy and his team had to contend with days of snow and freezing temperatures, which meant that the work took considerably longer than planned. Despite this and the fact that several changes were made to the design as the work progressed, the guys worked consistently hard, remained in good spirits, and were always happy to make adjustments if asked. The smaller patio was built just recently, and altogether the finished work looks great and has transformed our garden. We would not hesitate to recommend Broad Reach Landscapes.
