"The work was unfortunately delayed due to the time of year and weather conditions. On advice from the sealer manufacturer, the sealing of the driveway was completed in March 2012 as it had to be 100% dry weather conditions for the sealant to be effective. Unfortunately, this delayed completion was unavoidable but necessary to ensure the quality of the finish."

An excellent group of guys, very pleased with the work they have done. We trusted them enough to leave the house unlocked and unsupervised whilst they were working. The finish of the drive and all the brick work, the retaining walls and decorative edges, is excellent. After our previous experience of the builders we used for the extension to the house, we almost had to evict them! The BUDS guys always worked when they were on site, no standing about chatting, and left us informed about the planned work. They also provided very useful guidance on the details of the design so that the finished work looks much better than we expected. If we ever need any more landscaping we will certainly use BUDS.

From the moment Matt arrived to give us a quote it was obvious that he was a professional. The attention to detail excellent. He listened to our ideas for the drive and then made suggestions that put "the icing on the cake". Although Buds were not the cheapest quote once work began we saw that we were getting real value for money, so no complaints there. Matt complied with all the regulations for water run off, where four other companies were not bothered, saying no one will check so don't worry. Would we use Buds again, most certainly. All the staff were very polite, checking at the end of each day that we had safe access to the house and that the site was left safe with barrier tape along the public footpath edge.

Work included the dismantling of a partly-collapsed flint wall and salvaging of materials for inclusion in a brick-and-flint replacement; the drive was laid to falls into new soakaways. The work was spread over a period of four weeks and was carried out on a long narrow site constrained by a main road. All site activities were very well managed and the attention to detail in the finished product was impressive. I would have no hesitation in approaching Buds for further work or in recommending them to others.

We found the price competitive, the product advice extremely helpful along with alternative design variations.
