Carey's Carpentry has been established for over 40 years and is a family run business running through 3 generations. The company is currently father and son (Tony and James Carey) who have worked together for over 15 years.
We undertake all aspects of carpentry work and specialise in roof construction and loft conversions. We have a wealth of experience in bespoke joinery. We pride ourselves on a quality finish and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Roof reconstruction to convert hip roof to gable
James and his team did an excellent job on our roof conversion, they worked through the weekend to meet the agreed schedule and completed the work in a very short time, at a fair price and to the satisfaction of the Building Inspector. James kept us fully in the picture, openly discussed solutions with us as the work progressed and responded positively to a request for extra works to replace facias and soffits. All the team were very pleasant and hard working and we are very pleased with the end result.

Minor work to a garden shed

Summer House built to1st fix
We can't recommend Carey’s Carpentry highly enough. The work they carried out is exemplary, far better than any flat pack alternatives on the current market, bespoke built with far better quality and finish. I've never known such friendly, approachable workmen to arrive early every day and tidy up everything when they leave. No job was too small and last minute design alterations were carried out without hesitation or issues, shows years of knowledge in their trade and skills. We have already suggested them to quite a few people looking to get work done and have no hesitation in recommending them, I’ve already procured their services for my loft conversion next year 2012. Thanks again CC for creating a beautiful summer house!

Installation of shelves, unit, mirrors, blinds, curtains rail, furniture repair and assembly, installation of new doors, gas ventilator replaced on the kitchen plinth, etc.
Mr Carey is a very professional, hard-working, honest perfectionist whom I highly recommend and will certainly use again. His contribution to our thorough-going refurbishment was essential in attaining the overall effect. No job was beneath him and the harder the challenge the more he displayed his skills and true craftsmanship. He is fun to have around. Worth every penny, and more. Thanks so much James.
