To fit a hot water system and under floor heating

This company was contracted to install a heating and hot water system. I found that he incorrectly fitted the water tank and would not come out to repair a leak in the heating system. In my opinion I feel that he lacks skill and never completed the installation despite being paid in full.

In response to the customer’s comments above, I would like to issue the following response. The work at the customer’s property became a problem from early on in the contract. We were sub-contracted by another builder that we have worked for in the past. The builder still owes us a substantial amount of money from the work carried out. The customer despite our advice purchased the majority of their own materials through various websites. Interestingly, I note they do not mention our numerous efforts to try and rectify the problems from these poor quality fixtures and the number of repeat visits we made at no extra charge to try and rectify these problems. For example, a shower screen that they purchased, fell apart once put together and did not fit the tray that it was purchased for. Another example was the call out for the shower valve that came with a broken thermostatic cartridge inside. Unfortunately, from time to time problems do arise when working for people and on 99.9% of these occasions, we can rectify these. I would strongly urge any readers of this one negative report to read the 80+ positive reports also logged on Checkatrade from other past satisfied clients.
