First time users of Carpet Fayre Ltd as always brought carpets from a known carpet store and fitted ourselves, But didn't fancy fitting carpet on the stairs ourselves. Was given a rough estimate from other known carpet store and after reading up on internet about the other company decided too look elsewhere and looked on checkatrade website and was impressed by the reviews for Carpet Fayre. Visited the showroom and was given a inviting welcome given time too choose the carpets we liked in our price range and arranged for an estimate a week later. Was really impressed with the estimate( there was no hidden charges for fitting, cutting or delivering) and was around £140 cheaper than previously quoted by other company and arranged fitting for two weeks later ( as now is a busy time for the company). Day came for carpet too be fitted, Guys were very friendly and chatty. They also measured up 3 other rooms while they were here. Carpet looks great and we are very impressed and would highly recommend. We had the underlay and door strips fitted also. It makes such a difference and lovely too walk on. Will be using again very soon.

The guy who came to fit was a sub contractor and he was fantastic, very polite and courteous, however the measurements they took of our floor were wrong and we spent 4 days with unfinished floor whist they ordered more packs of laminate in which meant my young toddler had to be kept in the kitchen and bedroom to avoid damage to herself or the floor.

I required some laminate flooring that was in a colour and size not now readily available. Carpet Fayre rang around various suppliers to find some and when they couldn't they let me take home their sample books so that we could find the closest match to what we wanted. All this and free coffee too. Nothing was too much trouble and all this for only a small order (one packet). I would recommend them again.

Overall very pleased with company. Work was carried out efficiently and tidily (as I expected having used them before) and considering they where asked to lift the old carpet and take relevant disposal action. I was also pleased the bedroom didn't have to be completely cleared as some companies demand. Their fitter was polite and amiable, I offered my help to move the remaining pieces of furniture when he was ready, but he said it posed no problems for him and just got on with it. Would recommend them every time.

Over the past 10yrs I have used Carpet Fayre for laying of carpet to a variety of rooms and stairs, laminate flooring and Karndean flooring in the entrance. I did use one other company, in comparison I would now always use Carpet Fayre; extremely professional, willingly to listen to your ideas and whether you visit showroom or home visit understand exactly what you want and ensure that you are 100% satisfied. Also honest if a particular request is not functional. Their business is quality and about the customer rather than how much money they can get out of you. I will continue to use this company and have indeed recommended them to friends.
