Carsons Flooring are specialist installers and renovators of wood flooring. We started over 22 years ago and have combined experience of approaching 70 years. We are the one stop shop for all your wood flooring needs. We do it all from removing & disposing of old floors, sub-floor preparation, installing by bonding, nailing or floating to fitting of new skirting boards and full room redecoration if requested. We repair and renovate by sanding and sealing all types of existing wood floors whether they be oak, pine, walnut, cherry, maple, mahogany or teak; be it laid in strips, planks or blocks. All our fitters are fully employed by Carsons.

Sanding of living room and conservatory floor
Fantastic job - very prompt, polite and helpful. Very reasonable price compared to alternative quotes. The floor is now a work of art - it will seem a shame to put anything on it.

Installation of a Dinesen Douglas floor, finished with lye and white soap
This company offer an excellent service from beginning to end. Huw Carson set up the installation perfectly, offering detailed advice and unparalleled customer service. His team of Martin, Vlasti and Adrian were especially amazing. They planned a difficult installation meticulously and achieved an incredible result. The floor looks like a work of art. They worked incredibly hard and patiently and were a pleasure to have in my house. Their attention to detail was very much appreciated. They were very ambitious for the project. I would give them all the highest possible recommendation.

Laid new wood floor
We had just completed an extension and required the removal of the old floor and a new one laid in an area of 27m2. The work was carried out professionally and completed in just two days by Vlast and Adrian. They were very courteous and kept us informed about what they were doing, including recommending some additional levelling work to ensure a successful outcome. We were very pleased with the result and would recommend this Company without reservation.

Old wooden floor removed, new wooden floor installed
Martin and Vlasty were the fitters with Hugh Carson also making regular visits and helping. The job was difficult - our old floor had been installed by another company, and according to our flooring expert had been mis-installed, leading to warping, with legal action continuing. So, Martin and Vlasty had to remove our old flooring which had a kitchen, cupboards, a wood-burner etc installed on top of it, which had underfloor heating in place and a family including a 1-year old living in the house. They did a great job, the stain is beautiful and the final oiling very good, Excellent finish.
