to donate just £1 each, it would raise the £40,000 needed for an operation
that will help enable Erin-Louise to walk.
Erin-Louise is only 3 years old, she lives in West Sussex and has Diplegia
Cerebral Palsy. Everyday she needs physiotherapy to stop her muscles
from ceasing up. Her parents have booked her in this autumn for the £40,000 procedure
called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) which can help her. It has been available
successfully for over 20 years at St Louis Children's Hospital in Missouri by
top Neurosurgeon Dr T.S Park. It is not available in the UK or on the NHS.
I'm teaming up with a small group of Checkatrade members
to run 100 kilometres over 10 days (10K each day) this September to help raise this money.
