Clear assessment, advice and recommendation were given before proceeding with the job. Choices of different boilers were suggested to keep within the budget but keeping with same power output. Standard of work was very neat and clearly showed efficiency by completing the job on time.

Supply and fit Worcester combi boiler. Remove existing boiler - clear all rubbish.

Arrived on time, worked non stop all day. Excellent work, minimum of mess and disruption. Removed all rubbish / materials leaving very clean area.

Replacement boiler installation plus replacement electric shower

I would certainly recommend Ken of Chaucer Gas if you're looking for an honest quote and a sensible discussion of what you need. His quote was far smaller than the one I got from a main supplier, and he explained why I didn't need all the extra messy pipework and other things they were proposing. Even when comparing the two quotes without these extras, Ken's quote provided much better value for money and he did the job quickly. My tenants are really pleased they've got a boiler and shower that work well.

Boiler failed - no idea why

It was very cold weather. Phoned and he agreed to come out on the same day. Three hours later he arrived 6 minutes early! Took him about 15 minutes to identified a faulty thermostat. Offered me a second hand one for free or a new one, which a chose. Fixed and left after a friendly chat and cup of tea. Charged call out fee only and cost of thermostat. Excellent. Have recommended him to friends who report well of him.
