Colin was recommended to me by a friend to replace my combi -boiler and I'm glad I used him. Very professional from the initial quote visit through to completion of the work. He was flexible around my working hours which was also very helpful. A thoroughly good job completed and not a sign of him being there. It can be hard to find a good tradesman, but if you need a heating engineer then look no further than Colin.

Running hot water from my taps was taking anything from 10 - 20 minutes for it to heat up, so I called Colin and discussed the problem with him. He said it could be a part on the boiler that needs changing and he came over that evening to take a look. It was! He then ordered the new part, which took 24 hours to be delivered to him, he called as soon as he got it and came over that day to replace it. My hot water is working great now. Colin is a very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced gas engineer who reassured me from the minute I phoned him, that he would be able to sort the problem. He was punctual and kept me informed every step of the way and was very good on price too!

Running hot water from my taps was taking between 10-20 minutes to heat up, so I called Colin to discuss the problem. He said he thought it was due to a part needing replacement and came out that evening to take a look, and he was right. He ordered the part and once he had received it called me the next day and arranged a time to come out that very day. He fixed the new part and the problem was solved. My hot water is working just great now! Colin is a very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced gas engineer who reassured me every step of the way and kept me informed at the right times. He is a very clean worker and his prices are reasonable. I would certainly recommend him!

Called Colin to perform power flush to central heating system after being told that was required to get the system working and was quoted almost double by engineer. Colin arrived and upon inspection, found that a new pump was needed instead. Colin was informative, helpful and tidy throughout his work and saved me hundreds of pounds.

Called Colin after not being able to get a local engineer to visit our offices for at least two days. Colin arrived in an hour from me calling him. He was very polite and informative about the problem and came back to me very quickly with a quote for a replacement boiler. He even came in to replace the boiler over the weekend so that he wouldn't disrupt us whilst we worked. Came back into work on the Monday morning and found all was up and running and you would have thought that no one had been in as it was so clean and tidy. Would definitely use Colin again and will certainly recommend him.

The quality of the work was very good and he was clearly very knowledgeable about all aspects of his work. Very helpful and interesting and was willing to go the extra mile in terms of his service - unfortunately due to circumstances beyond his control we were left with no heating on Good Friday. This did not make a difference as he came out and did the work without charging public holiday call out fees, since the work had started on the Wednesday. Great service and he even had the good grace to say my hot cross buns were nice.

Had our boiler repaired in the last couple of weeks and last May by Colin. It's an old boiler and needed some replacements. Colin has been brilliant, kept us informed, helped us manage costs and is reliable and trustworthy. I called Colin on a Monday morning and he was able to come out the following morning to diagnose problem and carry out the necessary repair work - although he couldn't provide an estimate over the phone (on account of needing to first diagnose the fault!), he made sure that we were aware of the pricing system (hourly rate, parts, VAT) beforehand. He was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable, efficient and punctual, explaining the checks and flaws in our system as he worked and sourcing and fitting the required parts very quickly (and charged in accordance with his time estimate, which was in fact a little under the time he actually spent working). He made our house warm again - and saved us from death by carbon monoxide poisoning, as it turned out! (previous owners of the property had not, it seemed, had the boiler serviced for quite some time - if ever); can't recommend him highly enough!

Colin came at very short notice, identified the problem, excluded change of boiler and fixed the problem in 3 hours, providing information, guidance and advice throughout. We had a new boiler fitted by Mr Scott last November and this year a new hot tank. His was the best quote. He was enthusiastic, easy to discuss possible problems with and we are very pleased with the quality of the work. He has an up to date knowledge and enjoys solving unusual and difficult problems. We found him hardworking, cheerful and thorough, working in the evening until the job was finished. After sales response has been same day, which we think is very good. we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. The value for money marking is really a reflection of costs in this area of work.

Two other heating engineers said our fairly old boiler was beyond repair and gave quotes of £3000+ for complete replacement. Colin disagreed and has successfully repaired and serviced the boiler for under £200 - consequently very happy! Also he kept to his quote even though the job probably took longer than he expected. Overall very efficient, helpful and courteous. First appointment was delayed by 24 hours due to van breakdown, and time taken to obtain replacement part was fairly long - but both these things pretty much out of his control.

While I have down scored on time keeping it was only due to missing appointed window by 10 minutes, also the value for money is not a reflection on this operator but a comment on the 1/2 hourly rates generally charged by all. I would recommend them.

He knew what he was doing and worked solidly. He cured a central heating problem which no others could cure for 30 Years. Mr Scott services our gas boiler thoroughly. He also repaired a leak under the sink. We are very satisfied.
