Paul responded promptly to my email enquiry and when we spoke was ready to start work the same day. What at first seemed like a straightforward job fixing a broken interior French door handle and getting the other door to close properly turned out to be more complex. Both doors had first to be lifted off their hinges and rehung at a higher elevation using a combination of washers and shims. The 23 year old handle could not be fixed nor replaced with the same type; instead a new superior set of handles was fetched and fitted after drilling so as to align exactly the lock, barrel and sundry other parts. He made it look simple but it wasn’t. Given the unexpected additional work needed and the extra time taken as a result the charges could not have been more reasonable while the workmanship was top notch. I recommend him unconditionally.

This was a difficult job with a broken old lock. Not only did he eventually manage to remove it and replace it but assisted me in gaining entrance so that it could be done. I would recommend them.
